Docker中MySQL容器的创建和连接教程

在Docker中创建MySQL容器,通常推荐使用Dockerfile的方式,而不是通过docker commit提交镜像。后者虽然也能用,但别人接手时根本不知道你在容器里改了哪些东西,可维护性太差。下面这套方案基于Dockerfile构建,同时用supervisord管理服务——因为Dockerfile只允许一个CMD生效,如果既要启动MySQL又想用SSH进去管理,单靠CMD搞不定。当然,容器不一定非要走SSH,备份数据完全可以用--volumes-from,重启也用docker restart,但很多人习惯SSH操作,所以镜像里把SSH服务也加上了。

创建MySQL容器

先看下Docker版本(这里用的是1.6.0-rc5):

Dockerfile的核心内容:

supervisord.conf用于管理MySQL和SSH服务:

初始化用户脚本(create_mysql_user.sh)会在容器启动后生成随机密码:

一切准备就绪,执行docker build构建镜像:

查看镜像列表:

启动容器(-P随机映射端口,也可以指定-p 3306:3306):

查看运行中的容器:

Docker使用Link在容器之间建立连接

实际场景中经常需要多个容器互相协作,比如一个容器跑MySQL,另外两个容器作为客户端连接它。Docker的--link参数就是为此设计的。

先准备两个镜像:一个是MySQL服务器,另一个是客户端(只装mysql命令行工具)。

创建mysql_server目录,Dockerfile内容如下:

构建服务器镜像:

sudo docker build -t kongxx/mysql_server .

创建mysql_client目录,Dockerfile:

构建客户端镜像:

sudo docker build -t kongxx/mysql_client .

查看镜像确认:

$ sudo docker images | grep kongxx

启动MySQL服务容器:

sudo docker run --name=mysql_server -d -P kongxx/mysql_server

创建两个客户端容器,并通过--link连接到服务器容器,别名设为db

sudo docker run --name=mysql_client1 --link=mysql_server:db -t -i kongxx/mysql_client /usr/bin/mysql -h db -u root -pletmein
sudo docker run --name=mysql_client2 --link=mysql_server:db -t -i kongxx/mysql_client /usr/bin/mysql -h db -u root -pletmein

注意--link=mysql_server:db会将服务器容器的主机名映射为db,所以客户端里直接用-h db就能访问。运行完查看状态:

sudo docker ps

最后一行的NAMES列中,“mysql_client1/db,mysql_client2/db,mysql_server”表示两个客户端都已经成功链接到服务器容器。通过这种方式,容器间的服务发现和连接变得非常简洁,不需要手动配置IP地址,Docker Link自动维护了主机名解析。
